Dr. Lisa Piccioni has been a life long animal lover.  From rescuing baby birds, stray cats and dogs, to endless hours of walking colicky horses, she has had a drive to help animals feel better.

Dr. Lisa grew up riding horses and competing in combined training and dressage with both her own horses and other peoples horses.  She worked many jobs prior to becoming a veterinarian.  By training horses, teaching riding lessons, house sitting and doing pet care she learned alot about animals and their people.  She was instrumental in starting two chapters of the United States Pony Clubs, one in Shawnee, Kansas and one in Eugene, Oregon.

After graduating from Veterinary school in 1994 Dr. Lisa began practicing small animal medicine.  It was during this time that she was introduced to chiropractic care for herself and her horses.  After feeling and seeing the results, she started noticing dogs and cats that she felt could benefit from the same kind of treatment.  After much research she enrolled in the Options for Animals course.  This was a 180 hour course in animal chiropractic care that is approved by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA).  After graduating from the course and passing the AVCA certification examination she launched "Pawsitive Motion" and started traveling the state to adjust dogs, cats and horses.

Dr Lisa continues to attend educational seminars to expand her knowledge base.  She feels she has found her place in the world of Veterinary Medicine and is having a wonderful time.  Her practice currently consists of dogs competing in agility, sled racing, obedience, conformation and frisbee, along with some dogs who are simply beloved pets.
Dr Lisa, her husband, and their two children, live on 9 acres in the beautiful Willamette Valley of Oregon.  They live with three dogs, two cats and two horses.
